What to Bring

Packing for treatment is straightforward. Here is what we recommend bringing to PTWY Rehab:

  • Valid photo identification and your insurance card
  • A list of current medications, or the medications themselves in their original containers
  • Comfortable, casual clothing for 7 to 10 days, including layers
  • Swimwear for the heated therapy pool and athletic shoes for the yoga deck
  • Toiletries that do not list alcohol as an ingredient
  • A small amount of cash for incidentals
  • A notebook and any comfort items, including photos of family

Please leave at home: alcohol, drugs or paraphernalia, weapons, and valuables. Cell phone use is permitted during limited hours, and family visits are scheduled on weekends. Please note that PTWY Rehab does not allow pets on the campus.

How long does treatment last?

Treatment length is determined by clinical need, not a fixed package. Medical detox runs 3 to 7 days. Residential treatment ranges from 30 to 90 days. Outpatient care spans 2 to 4 weeks at the PHP level and 8 to 12 weeks at the IOP level. Your clinical team sets the duration based on assessment and progress.

Is detox medically supervised?

Yes. Detoxification at PTWY Rehab is conducted under 24/7 physician and nursing supervision, with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) provided where clinically indicated to manage withdrawal and reduce medical risk.

Which substances do you treat?

We treat dependence on alcohol, opioids, heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, MDMA, barbiturates, GHB, kratom, and hallucinogens, among others. Each substance has a distinct withdrawal profile, and the detox protocol is matched accordingly.

Do you treat co-occurring psychiatric conditions?

Yes. Our dual diagnosis program treats substance use disorders alongside co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD in a single integrated plan. Concurrent treatment is the clinical standard for co-occurring disorders.
